Líneas de investigación
Su labor científica se ha centrado fundamentalmente en Proyectos de I+D relacionados con la descontaminación de aguas mediante procesos de oxidación avanzada y la obtención de hidrógeno mediante fotocatálisis solar. Ha participado (participa) como investigador en 10 Proyectos Nacionales, 14 Proyectos Internacionales (IV, V, VI, VII y H2020 European Union Framework Programmes) y 5 Contratos de Investigación con Empresas Privadas relacionados con el desarrollo de Tecnologías Solares para el tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales.

Trayectoria Profesional

Desde 2002 es investigador en la Plataforma Solar de Almería (CIEMAT). Autor de 3 libros en Editorial Nacional y co-autor de 25 capítulos de libros en Editorial Internacional, co-autor de 107 publicaciones en revistas científicas internacionales con índice de impacto, 152 contribuciones a Congresos y Simposiums internacionales y diversas contribuciones a congresos nacionales. Actualmente cuenta con 3 sexenios de investigación (1999-2016). Designado por el informe publicado de la Consultora Grupo DIP (http://indice-h.webcindario.com/) como “investigador de excelencia” del ránking nacional. H index (jul. 2019) = 44.
