Líneas de investigación
Su labor científica ha estado fundamentalmente relacionada con Proyectos de I+D relacionados con la descontaminación de aguas mediante procesos de oxidación avanzada. Ha participado (participa) como investigador en 9 Proyectos Nacionales, 16 Proyectos Internacionales (IV, V, VI, VII y H2020 European Union Framework Programmes) y 5 Contratos de Investigación con Empresas Privadas relacionados con el desarrollo de Tecnologías Solares para el tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales y desalación.

Trayectoria Profesional

Desde 2002 es investigador en la Plataforma Solar de Almería (CIEMAT). Autor de 6 libros en Editorial Nacional y co-autor de más de 20 capítulos de libros en Editorial Internacional, co-autor de más de 100 publicaciones en revistas científicas internacionales con índice de impacto, más de 120 contribuciones a Congresos y Simposiums internacionales y diversas contribuciones a congresos nacionales. h index (diciembre de 2017) = 38.
